Alicia Cebada is Doctor in Law (2000), cum laude, from the Carlos III
University (Madrid – Spain). She was awarded with the “premio extraordinario” for her doctoral thesis and with the award from the Spanish Royal Academy of Doctors to the best thesis in the Legal and Social Studies Area. She obtained also a Master Degree on European Union Law (1993-95) from Carlos III University. She has been recently Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence (Italy). Her areas of research are: external action of European Union,
international organizations and international responsibility.
